One scholarship is awarded annually to an individual who has completed the Re-Entry Program for Registered Nurses offered through the Centre for Nursing Studies.

Who Can Apply
Applicants are accepted from Registered Nurses who:
- completed the RN Re-Entry program from the Centre for Nursing Studies in the 2019 calendar year (January 1- December 31, 2019),
- resided in NL for at least 1 year prior to commencement of the RN Re-Entry program, and
- hold a current membership with CRNNL.
How to Apply

Applications must be completed using the Special Competition application form.
Applications must be submitted by the deadline in order to be included in the review. Late applications will not be considered.
Supporting Documentation
You will be required to provide additional documentation to support your application. The Application Requirements Document includes a checklist of supporting documentation that must be submitted in order for your application to be considered complete.
All supporting documentation must be received at CRNNL House by the application deadline.

Selecting Recipients
The Awards Committee will rank the applicants on the basis of the following criteria (in order):
- academic ability,
- potential contribution to the nursing profession,
- personal statement, and
- financial need (as determined by whether the applicant has received funding from other sources; personal financial information is not used).
Note: The scholarship must be used in the academic year in which it is granted.
